Murphy`s Grill in Dallas

I had Chipotle burger and it was pathetic. They used shredded lettuce instead of leaf lettuce, they put to much sauce on it because the buns were saturated and it was messy. I don't mind if I get a little bit of sauce on my hand but when it looks as if I'm going to wash my hands with the sauce, then you know there's to much. I'll go back for drinks, the seemed pretty decent.

Service was great (it always is) and the food was hot and delicious.

Home is good, and Murphy's Grill is home to me. After 30 years in the foreign service, and living in 7 countries ( Central and South America, Asia, Africa) we have had varied dining experiences and never ate alone. With you I am comfortable alone, find clean restrooms, pleasant wait persons, and always more than a "tasty" well presented meal. Sharing a meal with friends or family, or alone is always positive. After moving here we quickly fell in love with this place. It has a great variety of food and the grill items are top notch. The service is always friendly so you have a relaxing dinner.

It was a very pleasant experience. The food was so good! We love the steaks there. Always cooked right the first time. The service is quick and attentive and the atmosphere is relaxing. It was nice and cool on a hot day and their drinks are good too!

I've aways enjoy going here for dinner! Though it seems like everytime my family does, the prices have literally ALWAYS increased. Not OK imo. Especially raising menu prices by a dollar + every 4-6 months! it's absolutely ridiculous! Common, Murphy's.... I'm rooting for ya here....

fantastic service. debbie was probably the nicest waitress one ever met. but the food was just ok. it lacked flavor and had odd pairings. for example 'grilled veggies' were green beans and two kinds of carrots... steamed not grilled. pricing was middle of the road.would come here again just for the service.

Good french fries. I like the halibut fish and chips. It would be nice if they served local wine.

Served Dallas well. Good food and friendly faces. Closing at 10 pm tonight for the final time.

Our first visit was great. We sat in the bar, which offered some privacy. Our server was amazing although I cant remember his name!

My husband and I enjoy the nice waitresses and the food is very good.We go at least once a week and the waitresses know we like our favorite booth and know what we like to drink when we arrive. We feel very welcome and will continue going there!The food just keeps getting better and better!!!!!Waitresses are great!

If you want a dining experience where the food is consistently exellent and the staff treat you like family then Murphy's is the place to go! Enjoy!

My halibut dinner was wonderful, but my husband's burger was definitely not worth the $12 they charged for it. Waiter was super attentive and friendly. The restaurant was very slow since it was a Sunday night. Would go there again, but not order burgers.

The food was pretty good. I felt the price was more than the food was actually worth. We did have a great waitress though.

Very good food at reasonable prices, nice atmosphere and staff. Great whether we order a little or a lot. UPDATE we ate here again yesterday. It's a good place to meet and eat.Visted again 9/22/18. EXCELLENT food and service. Best surprise was the availability of the Chocolate Flourless cake!

The staff at Murphy's is always friendly and helpful. They check in with you during your meal to make sure you are satisfied and to ensure your dining needs are met. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are comparable and reasonable. I've yet to have a bad experience at Murphy's Grill. The staff always greets us with a arms smile and welcomes us to the restaurant. Food is good, not always perfect but quality.

Great food good entertainment one of the last good places that you can go with your family and have a good Amercian meal. To mamy fast food places in town

Nice menu, i can eat healthy and have good food too. Excellent salmon, steaks, wings, burgers and more. We have always been happy with the service.

I recently moved to Dallas and have found few restaurants that I would recommend to friends. The only one I have found is Murphy's Grill. Their food is consistently good. I have eaten there on three occasions, have ordered different menu order each time and all have been excellent. They also have yummy dessert offerings!

We enjoyed a good meal and hearty portion at Murphy's. I had the New York steak with mashed potatoes and a pint of local brew. It is a cozy restaurant with friendly service. I highly recommend dining there. They also have great specials and frequent coupons. I always look forward to your personal pie selections for desert, served hot with a topping of ice cream. YUM

I have found a great place to eat and enjoy excellent food with a wide choice on their menu. I cannot count the times I have been there, but I know I will keep on going! Try it! You will like it! I really appreciated the level of service that we got at Murphy's. We weren't standing more than a minute before someone seated us, and after ordering , waitresses walking by would ask us if we were doing alright and did we need anything. They were polite and respectful, and it made me really happy. It was a pleasant end to a trying day.The entire restaurant was immaculate. I witnessed staff cleaning in their downtime and the bathroom was just as clean and fresh smelling as the dining area.The music was of a very old standard, I heard Barbara Streisand and a lot of 70's/80's music, but it was pleasant to listen to and I do not have complaints about it.The food is of an appropriate standard, not gourmet, but the onion rings were crisp, the salad fresh, and the soup hot. My son ordered a hamburger and he enjoyed it thoroughly. I cannot complain and I would not hesitate to return.

Always a great experience when I go there. The staff are amazing, there food is the best. The have these loaded fries that are to die for. The service is really good. I will always recommend this place ! It's a must try!!!!

Had breakfast here for the first time today and it was excellent! And also great Bloody Mary's as well.

I've eaten here since it opened. It's a great place! One day Mel even bought me lunch. The wait staff is super friendly and very proficient. Celestial always remembers my favorite food items. Murphys is my favorite. Congratulations to Mel and the entire staff!

I enjoy the atmosphere .A lot of frozen vegetables. I prefer fresh, not as watery.and a lot of flavor.

Got their hot pastrami sandwich special, which was really good. The cole slaw was just right; not too sweet, not too tart. We were quit disappointed to learn that Murphy's is closing on March 1st 😕.

The food is excellent and the service is friendly. My wife and I have been going to Murphy's for 3 years now. We love it.

Not very busy for a Monday night. I had the Country fried steak, it was very nicely cooked. My wife had the chicken strip dinner, large portion and the strips were good size. The first soda we got was over carbonated probably from a low syrup container, no blame on the server. Overall a nice dining experience, will definitely stop by again.

Absolutely amazing.With three years in the restaurant industry as a chef, I can assure you that Murphy's Grill is a top class restaurant. The food is great, and the service is outstanding. For casual family dinning Murphy's is Great. Food is always excellent and where they find there excellent staff, I don't know. We have our favorites but they are all excellent. Our newer waitress Michelle was another excellent addition to there staff. This time it was my Wife's Birthday Dinner.... Thanks Guys

My husband and I have dined at many restaurants in many states and abroad. Murphy's is one of the friendliest and accommodating restaurants we have visited. The staff visit our table often to make sure we have what we need and that our food has met our expectations. The food always comes to the table hot and is presented well. The owners come around to the tables as time allows with a smile and warm greeting. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. And their desserts are awesome! I highly encourage you to stop by.

Service was superb! Being disabled in a wheelchair, they accommodated me at a table they arranged especially for my needs. They checked in on me throughout my meal to see if all was well, but in a non-obtrusive manner. The food was warm and not too hot, and DELICIOUS as well!!

About 9 months ago, my family and I went to Murphy's Grill and had a bad experience. We entered and we were seated, great start but everything went down hill right after that. They never brought us our menus, not even asked for our drinks. They sat two other families by us and they brought their menus but not ours. They took their orders down, as we were still waiting for our menus! We literally waited about 30 mins and nothing. We left as soon as they brought the food to the other families. We felt so disrespected. I regret not letting the manager know right away but at that time I was angry. I'm sure their food is good but we will never go back.

I had higher expectations. Pastrami sandwich had greasy bread, with dry pastrami. Tots were excellent.

Went here on mothers day, as a a treat for me my husband took me. The service was horrible no one smile at all the whole time, they acted like it was a bother we showed up. Then the food wasnt good. I figured with the reviews and price the food would be yummy. It wasn't and it was not even warm. The flavors of the cheese sticks where off and the marinara tasted like salsa. The chicken wings weren't spicy at all like it describes and the salad was okay. The best thing about the whole experience was their strawberry lemonade which was super good. Wish I could of left a better review. Maybe you guys should look into hiring people that enjoy their jobs and make people feel welcomed and not like they were forced to be there. I work in customer service and this is not how it's done.

Just had a great meal, chef salad and a monster club. The wait staff were pleasant, attentive and down to earth. The host person seemed annoyed but quick to seat us. If I was to suggest anything I would say the reception area needs a quieter ring to the phone since it was super loud. Awesome place overall.
